Nadja Swarovski
is the daughter of Helmut Swarovski, president and chairman of the board of directors of D. Swarovski KG.
Born in Germany, raised in Austria and schooled in Europe (Germany, France, Spain and Italy) and the
United States, she is the fifth generation of the Swarovskis to work for the family business.
As Vice President of International Communications, Nadja initiated and set up the Swarovski Communications
Unit London in November 2000, where the concept of the Creative Service Center and Communication merged.
While continuing to rediscover and support talent in the fashion and jewelry industries, Nadja initiated the revival of the chandelier,
thus moving into the Home Décor/Lifestyle arena. The music and movie industries have also become areas of concentration,
where Swarovski crystals allow the stars to shine even more brightly.

Perry Oosting
President Vertu, heads Vertu, the pioneer and leading manufacturer of handcrafted mobile phones for the luxury market. He was appointed President in June 2009 and is based at the Vertu headquarters in Hampshire, UK.
With 20 years experience at the highest level in the luxury industry, Perry joined Vertu having held senior positions with many established brands including Bulgari, Prada and Gucci.
Native Dutch, Perry studied at The Academy of Art & Design based in The Netherlands and speaks English, German and Italian as well as his native tongue.
Perry has also lived in the US, Canada, Germany and Italy and currently resides between the UK and The Netherlands. He is married to an artist, has two children and enjoys gastronomy, travel, art and design.

Michael Kuhn
Senior Manager, Business Innovation (BI) Daimler AG, is founder and project manager of Daimler’s ridesharing community car2gether which is currently being piloted in the German cities of Ulm and Aachen.
car2gether enables short-term matching of empty seats anytime and anywhere – via website http://www.car2gether.com or smart phone.
The launch of the pilot project was covered in leading German and U.S. media.
Moreover, he is responsible for the "Business Innovation Community", a web 2.0 platform for new business ideas in the Daimler Intranet.
It is one of the biggest internal innovation platforms with 23,000 employees registered and provides all Daimler employees with the opportunity to share their business ideas with colleagues (cross-hierarchical and cross-divisional).
Before joining BI in October 2007, he held various positions within Daimler's Corporate Communications Unit.
Michael Kuhn studied Business Administration at the Nuertingen-Geislingen University.

Lothar Maier
has been in the Swarovski Consumer Goods Business since 2006. As Vice President Product Marketing "Home and Functional Products" he is responsible for the product groups “Home Accessories” and “Active Crystals” (small electronic devices). These areas of responsibility contribute to the overall success of the Swarovski Consumer Goods Business. Appointed in 2009 as CGB Innovation Manager and member of the CGB INNONetwork steering committee, he is working in parallel on various innovations.
Before joining Swarovski he was CEO of a distribution company for glassware. For more than 12 years prior to that, in his former profession as Vice President Marketing for several well known German tabletop and glassware brands, he was responsible for Product Development, Design Management, and Marketing. Based on his long professional experience he has a 360 degree approach regarding the entire range of Business Models.

Birgit Rieder
Director of Gem Creative for the Synthetic and Gemstone Business of Daniel Swarovski
KG / SWAROVSKI GEMS™, has worked for the Swarovski Group for more than fifteen years.
After starting her career in product management, she became Manager for Special Marketing
Projects like the SWAROVSKI GEMS™ design contests and Director of Gem Creative,
the trend and design department of Swarovski’s Synthetic and Gemstone Business.
It was in the context of her most recent position that Birgit initiated the SWAROVSKI GEMS™
fine jewelry trends forecasting service, Gem Visions.
During the past eight years that Birgit has managed this pioneering initiative,
Gem Visions has grown to be a widely acclaimed and highly valued design and marketing
tool for the jewelry industry.
